Model-based design approach

13 FPGA BASED DEVICE FOR FLUID SCANNING

We designed a device for X-rays processing based on the diffraction effect.

Promwad did a mechanical design of the case; developed the array of 120 printed circuit boards with ASIC chips, FPGA Lattice and STM MCU (including firmware). The PCBs for this device are so miniature that only a few factories in the world can manufacture them. The first batch was manufactured in Switzerland.

Commissioned by an Italian client, we did FPGA software development and Linux kernel drivers for the Ultra HD 4K framebuffer based on the Xilinx Kintex-7 custom board.

§ Support for two 4K monitors via two independent framebuffers

§ Conversion of interfaces and video streams in real time

§ Interface for monitors: DVI, HDMI

16 FPGA-BASED DEVICE FOR VIDEO PROCESSING & STREAMING FROM CMOS CAMERA TO LCD A customer turned to us for the

development of the FPGA Xilinx Spartan 6 configuration for his ready-made hardware platform. The FPGA receives a video stream from a CMOS sensor and transfers it to an LCD.

18 IP-CORE FOR QSPI FLASH EMULATION

With the HyperRAM FPGA firmware, our client created a secure BIOS boot module for the Intel 100 and Intel 230 chipset family Platform Controller Hub (PCH) and Winbond SPI NOR Flash.

HyperRAM memory allows using a small footprint PCB board in contrast to the SDRAM memory and beats the SRAM memories in cost.

19 IEEE C37.94 MULTIPLEXERWe developed a mechanical design, PCB and FPGA design for the IEEE C37.94 interface converter. The device is used as a part of the Smart Grid IEC-61850 teleprotection system.

21The ViewFinder captures a raw video stream from a professional Canon camera via the 3G-SDI interface (60Hz frame rate, 4K UHD format), transmits the raw data to the host x86 processor over PCI-e link and displays the processed video stream on a 4K display via the Display Port interface.

22 MULTIPLEXING ENGINE

We implemented a schematic design, PCB layout, mechanical design and FPGA firmware for the multiplexing system of digital interfaces. Two boards are connected via 10 GbE fiber link and transfer data with minimum latency.

23 VOICE RECORDER FOR AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL (ATC)

We designed a redundant interface system for recording voice information in airports.

§ Analogue boards with 16 protected input channels for voice recording.

§ Digital (ISDN PRI/BRI) boards with 8 protected input channels in each.

§ Each pair of boards operates synchronously in cold or hot reserve.

We made schematic and PCB layout design, FPGA PL programming on Xilinx Zynq and Embedded Linux programming on ARM cores, as well as prototypes manufacturing.
