JAMIEHeaslipwill captain Irelandin this year’s RBS 6 Nations, des-pite the return of Brian O’Driscollto the squad after missing lastyear’s Autumn Tests through in-jury.

An enlarged 39-man squad, containing sixuncapped players was announced today,ahead of the Wolfhounds’ clash with theEngland Saxons in Galway on Friday week.Munster assistant coach Anthony Foley andLeinster’s Greg Feek will be part of thatcoaching team for the Wolfhounds game,and will continue to work with Irelandthroughout the 6 Nations.The squad will see several further addi-

tions, following this weekend’s Europeangames. Both squads will train in CartonHouse, with a Wolfhounds panel selectedlater next week. After the game, a smallertraining squad will be selected for Wales.Commenting on the captaincy, Declan

Kidney said “Jamie had done a really goodjob for the squad and management duringNovember and I felt that now was the cor-

rect time to do this.“Brian has had very little rugby in the last
