The application deadline for new full-time students to apply for

student finance for AY2015/16 has now passed. New students who

are starting a course this autumn are encouraged to apply for

student finance online as soon as possible, to make sure they

have some of their funding in place as close as possible to the

start of their course.

It takes at least six weeks to process student finance applications

and we will do everything we can to process all applications

before the start of the academic year. However, by applying after

the deadline, students may not have all of their student finance

funding in place for the start of their course. Students don’t need

to have a confirmed place to apply; they can use their preferred

choice of course and change it later if they need to.

For continuing full-time students, the deadline is Tuesday 30th

June so please submit your applications as soon as possible.

The quickest and easiest way

to apply is online at www.gov.uk/studentfinance

For a range of helpful tools and guidance for students visit our

dedicated student finance zone

at www.thestudentroom.co.uk/studentfinance

Are you 19 or under? If so then please take a moment to complete

a survey in order to establish how and if you would like to receive

relationship and sexual health messages through social media.

You can find the survey here http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/talkrsh

This year we have hopped across the bay from Watergate onto the beautiful Fistral Beach in Newquay. We can't wait to open the gates to what is promising to be the best Electric Beach ever.

We have two action packed days with some of the best acts from around the world, including Australia's best loved festival act - The Cat Empire headlining the Saturday evening and the notoriously rambunctious Alabama 3 kick-starting Electric Beach with a bang...

Don't miss the famous VIP after parties at the Chy Bar and Koola club with DJ sets from Dreadzone, Jelly Jazz and Hong Kong Ping Pong, plus live performances.

Information about tickets can be found here http://www.electricbeachfestival.co.uk/#about

Could you please all ensure that your address details are correct on

our system. This is important for 1st and 2nd year students on all courses.

Your results will automatically be sent to your HOME address. If

you are moving or your address is incorrect, please make sure that

you fill in a change of address form with your new details.

It is important to note that your results are sent out to you from

Camborne and not Newquay and any results / certificates sent to

you at the wrong address will require you to pay a fee for a

duplicate copy to be sent to your correct address, this will also

result in a delay in you receiving your results.

You will need to let me know if you require your address changing by

30th June 2015 to enable me to update the system for you. It is

very important that we hold the correct address for you as all

certificates and results will be sent to the address logged on the

system.

Re-sit work will also be sent to your home address.

Please fill in a Change of Address Form which is available from

Reception. Please make sure that you fully complete this form with

all your details. We cannot change addresses on the system without

the form.

Many thanks
