Coin Excelsior is a new format to launch Coin as a premium department
store, upgrading its offer with Brands belonging to the accessible
luxury category alongside Italian and international contemporary Brands.
The first store opened in 2014 in Rome, Venice was renovated in
2015 and the plan is to replicate the success by trasforming more Coin
stores into Coin Excelsior in the near future.

In 2013 Coin launched an important CSR project with Oxfam Italia: “Women’s Circle
For Change”. A fundraising campaign focused on women’s rights and on the ability
of women to build a better world.
Coin and Oxfam Italia launched the Hello Kitty T-shirt, designed by Helena
Christensen with Swarovsky Elements and Sanrio Foundation.
Special Capsule collections createdby female Italian designers were launched
to support the fundraising:

Altaroma and Coin Excelsior Rome teamed up for a partnership dedicated to emerging fashion designers.
An exclusive selection of up-and-coming brands discovered by Altaroma and “Who Is On Next?” (the scouting project conceived and organized by Altaroma in collaboration with
Vogue Italia) were presented at Coin Excelsior.
The store in via Cola di Rienzo was invaded by an explosion of creativity and visitors had the chance to admire and
purchase the accessories designed by:
