You and your children know in

advance the route they will be taking.

If you are not accompanying

your children, make sure...

They wear a watch and know

when they’re curfew is.

Have enough money to

call home if needed.

Not to eat any candy until they get

home and you inspect it first.

Be careful when crossing streets.

Walk on sidewalks, not in the street.

Walk on the left side of the road, facing traffic if

there are no sidewalks.

Walk, do not run, from house to house.

Do not cross yards and lawns where unseen objects

or the uneven terrain can present tripping hazards.

Never let your children

trick or treat alone!!

Have them walk with lots of

friends.

It makes it hard to

kidnap kids if other

kids are around.

Especially under the age of 12.

Costume Safety Tips:Make sure the material is fire resistant.

Choose bright colors or add reflective tape.

Make sure the costume’s not a tripping hazard.

If it’s cold outside, wear warm clothes under the

costume.

And for all of you who are old

enough to do so…

HAPPY

HALLOWEEN!!Have a

spooky time

and make it

mishap free

for everyone!

items that shoppers can purchase at the Windward Mall to be given to specific

Warrior Marines, Army soldiers, and all other military service branches, holiday shop-

pers are able to bring joy to those in our U.S. Armed Forces needing some holiday

cheer.

some musical entertainment from military groups. Ladies from the group, Red Hot

Flashes of Hawaii will join USO Hawaii volunteers make an appeal to shoppers that
