Annotation tiers

• An annotation tier is always assigned to a particular speaker

• The category of tiers always corresponds the information annotated

Deselect „Auto“ for customised display

• Speaker/select speaker– Each speaker has his/her own annotation tier

• Type/ set type of A(nnotation)

• Category/ set category Name relates to content, not too long, e.g. „PP“

or „error“

– P+NP (Wenn der Kasus nicht zu bestimmen ist.)

• In der Annotationsspur „Fehler“:

– RP (Rektion Präposition): *nach das Essen, *bei die Wand

– WR (Wechselpräposition Richtung): *du stellst dich vor dem Bild

– WO (Wechselpräposition Ort): *ich bin neben die Pflanze

– MISC (Weitere Fehler): *zu Ziel

Summary Tiers – Type A(nnotation) – add

each category for every speaker

1. In the transcription tier (if desired for the given event)

– either split (Event > Split, Ctrl+2)

– or double-split (Event > Double split, Ctrl+3)

2. In the annotation tier(if desired) merge events (Event > Merge, Ctrl+1)

1. Enter annotation (typing)

• Names

• (if desired) tag

• (if desired) description(examples, guidelines)

• View > Annotation Panel

• Open PP.xml

Select

• Select event(s) in the annotation tier– First of all (double) split in the T-tier

• Requested file card will be selected by selection in the Partitur-Editor

Add annotation

• Double-click on the desired annotation category in the annotation panel

• Several events will be automatically linked

Summary

• View > Annotation Panel

• Open…

• Within transcription tier (in need)– Either split (Strg+2 / via right mouse click)

– or double split (Strg+3 / via right mouse click)

• Select event in the annotation tier

• Duble-click on the annotation category in the annotation panel
