TOGETHER WE LEARN

Wrapping up 2018

It is now the completion of 2018,

All of our accomplishments, what a year!

So many experiences our students have seen,

Many successes, let’s yell out a cheer!

From tennis to netball and swim school too,

Our students have loved being involved in sport.

We have enjoyed our visiting performance crews,

All of these wonderful lessons, they have been taught.

We cannot forget all that goes on in the classroom,

Maths, Literacy, Science, History and Art.

Teachers support their minds to zoom

For all of those thoughts we cannot part.

So you again all eager and keen

See you soon in 2019!

What a blast we had last week at Tumut Schools As Community Centre.

On Tuesday and Wednesday We enjoyed the glorious sunshine at the park for our Playgroup Christmas parties and to everyone’s

surprise Santa stopped by to say hello and handed out magic reindeer food for all the boys and girls. Although we got rained out

on Thursday that didn’t stop us from celebrating at the SaCC building!!

We also had our playgroup graduations for all of our big friends that will start school in 2019. What an exciting journey they have

ahead of them. We know they will do just great.

This week will be the last week of Playgroups for the year! So we’ll be doing loads of Christmas exploring, creating and even

decorating our own gingerbread cookies.

Year 6 Graduation Dinner

Last Tuesday, our Year 6 students, along with their families and many of our teachers, celebrated the culmination

of their primary school years. In what was an enjoyable night of reflection, our most senior students were also

wished well for their bright futures by Mrs Stuckey. The evening also included speeches from our 2018 School

Captains, Allie & Levi, a presentation of Graduation Certificates by the Year 6 teachers and, of course, a lovely meal

and dessert in the form of the Year 6 farewell cakes. Best wishes for high school and beyond to all of you!

Sweet Fundraiser!

This week the SRC will be selling lolly bags for $1

under the COLA during Lunch and Recess. All money

raised will go towards local families at Christmas

time!
