MOTIVATING “LAID-BACK” CHILDREN

Why do some children prefer to lead a lazybones life, while others love to tear

around the sports field? Is it a hereditary trait? And what can parents do to

encourage those children to get up off the sofa, or switch off the computer, and get a

little physical? Find out more: http://bit.ly/1s5TN5Z

Last term, 5G were reading ‘Uncanny’ by Paul Jennings.

We enjoyed making visual representations of each

chapter with our ‘Picture Quilts’.

In Maths we have been graphing our spelling errors each week. We have talked about the different reasons why we think we made more mistakes in some weeks.

During Art lessons we have been learning how to use

bubble writing in creative ways.

GOOD LUCK We wish Jack Lee, Tikirah-Ann Douglas and

Josh Kell all the best as they travel to Homebush

this week to compete in The State Athletics Carnival.
