LUNCH BOX – PARENTS PLEASE HELP

Students need nutritious food to do their best learning at

school. A healthy lunch box will include fruit and sandwich/es and only ONE treat.

Unfortunately an increasing number of students have a

lunch box with only TREATS - chips, soft drink and processed food like packets of Tiny Teddies or roll ups.

At school, Recess and Lunch are times for eating and for

being active. There needs to be a balance with the amount

of food placed in the child’s lunch box to ensure the child is not hungry and also allow the student time to play.
