HAMPER FOR STREET STALL We are asking every student to bring in an item for
the Hamper to be raffled at the street stall on Thursday 23rd October. There will be a special
reward for the class that brings in the most items. Your child has received a note with details about
what we would like you to send in. Please send items to your child’s class so the
teacher can tally the points for the items. Please send in items by Wednesday 22nd October.

Wednesday 29 October in school hall
Our COGS unit this term is called, ‘Local Places’. We will be studying natural, built and heritage environments. Our Science unit is called, ‘Build It Up’. We will be investigating how built environments are designed for specific purposes. We have also begun reading our Accelerated Literacy text ‘Ark in the Park’ by Wendy Orr and Kerry Millard.
