ANZAC DAY is a special ceremony where we all gather to respect the ANZACs, have a minutes silence and listen to The Ode, The Reveille, The Last Post and the national anthem. The citizens of Tumut gathered before dawn at Richmond Park on the 25/4/19 for the Dawn service. School Captain, Preston Loneragan, attended along with staff and other student leaders. He was honoured to read the names of those from Tumut who had fought in wars that Australia was involved in. This was his first ANZAC Day service and he said it was a very special occasion.

What’s happening at Tumut School’s As Community Centres:

Over the first few weeks of term 2 we'll be celebrating Autumn and the Festival of the Falling Leaf at Tumut Schools as Community Centre! We've implemented an Autumn discovery area, brimming with all things natural to our environment

to encourage imagination and a greater understanding and appreciation of the world we live in. Last week we dot painted some amazing colourful leaves and got busy creating mothers day gifts for mum's and nan's for Mothers Day. This week

we'll be collaging cards with buttons, creating Autumn tree's and so much more. Come along and share the fun!
