GREETING PENITENTIAL ACT GLORIA
English: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great glory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
COLLECT Almighty and merciful God, by whose gift your faithful offer you right and praiseworthy service, grant, we pray, that we may hasten without stumbling to receive the things you have promised. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

THE LITURGY OF THE WORD FIRST READING Deut 6:2-6 RESPONSORIAL PSALM Ps. 18:2-3,3-4,47,51
R./ I love you, Lord, my strength. SECOND READING Heb 7:23-28 Alleluia Whoever loves me will keep my word, says the Lord; and my Father will love him and we will come to him. - Jn 14:23 GOSPEL Mk 12:28b-34 HOMILY THE PROFESSION OF FAITH I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins

and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen. PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL …Let us pray to the Lord. R. Lord, hear our prayer.
THE LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST
PREPARATION OF THE ALTAR & THE GIFTS 11:00 anthem – Cathedral Choir Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal – arranged by Alice Parker Hark, I hear the harps eternal Ringing on the farther shore, As I near those swollen waters With their deep and solemn roar. Hallelujah, praise the Lamb! Hallelujah, hallelujah, Glory to the great I AM! And my soul, tho’ stain’d with sorrow, Fading as the light of day, Passes swiftly o’er those waters, to the city far away. Souls have crossed before me saintly, to that land of perfect rest; And I hear them singing faintly In the mansions of the blest.

GREAT AMEN
THE COMMUNION RITE THE LORD’S PRAYER
COMMUNION ANTIPHON Cf. Ps 16 (15): 11
You will show me the path of life, the fullness of joy in your presence, O Lord. SPIRITUAL COMMUNION PRAYER
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the most holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, Come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION May the working of your power, O Lord, increase in us, we pray, so that, renewed by these heavenly Sacraments, we may be prepared by your gift for receiving what they promise. Through Christ our Lord. BLESSING & DISMISSAL PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
