The blessings of the Resurrection to you! As we continue our journey through our jubilant cele-bration of Easter, we must always remember that all that we have, we have received from God and that our lives should reflect the love that God has shown us, shown to all that we encounter. It is not always easy to be happy, joyful and loving, however, this is the challenge that has been given to us by Pope Francis. Do we have bad days? Sure….We all do….. The reality is, if Christ died and through his resurrection destroyed death, how can we not be joyful!!!! The most powerful downer in the world, death, no longer has pow-er. In the Easter hymns of the Easter Vigil we hear, death where is you power, death where is your sting….It is gone!!!! Let us rejoice and when we do have struggles in our life, remember, Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Have a great week and see you next week! Fr. A

A medida que continuamos nuestro viaje a través de nuestra jubilosa celebración de la Pascua, siempre debemos recordar que todo lo que tenemos, lo hemos recibido de Dios y que nuestra vida debe reflejar el amor que Dios nos ha mostrado. Esto se muestra con nuestro prójimo. No siempre es fácil ser feliz, alegre y cariñoso, sin embargo, este es el reto que se nos ha dado por parte del Papa Fran-cisco. ¿Tenemos días malos? Claro....todos los te-nemos..... La realidad es que, si Cristo murió y por su resurrección destruyó la muerte, ¿cómo no es-tar alegres?! En los himnos de la Vigilia Pascual que escuchamos sobre la muerte, ¡se han ido! Ale-grémonos y cuando tengamos luchas en nuestra vida, recuerden, ¡Cristo ha resucitado! ¡Aleluya! St. Charles Borromeo had a really great blood drive on Feb. 8th 2015 with 29 units donated by 25 successful donors;4 donors gave a POWER
BLOOD donation, each of which counts as 2 units. This is our best since 2011.
