NINETEENTH-CENTURY FRENCH STUDIES

NCFS is an independent journal published twice a year in two double issues,

fall—winter and spring—summer. The pages of NCFS provide scholars and

students with the opportunity to examine new trends, review promising research findings, and become better acquainted with professional

developments in nineteenth-century French studies. Scholarly articles on all

aspects of nineteenth-century French literature and related fields are invited.

In addition to articles, the journal also includes a book review section. Reviews

include works from a wide variety of disciplines that serve to illuminate the

literature of the period. Students and scholars of nineteenth-century French

life and literature who are interested in becoming reviewers for the journal are

invited to write the editor outlining their specific fields of interest.

Manuscripts must be accompanied by a return envelope and sufficient

postage (stamps or international reply coupons). MSS should be written

according to the specifications of The MLA Style Manual and be typed with

DOUBLE SPACING throughout including endnotes and quotations of prose or

verse.

linguistique, psychanalytique, freudienne, archétypale, etc.

NCFS est une publication internationale composée d'articles, de notes, de

commentaires et de comptes rendus. Les textes sont rédigés en anglais ou en

français. La revue paraît deux fois par an sous la forme de numéros doubles.

Le Comité de Rédaction sollicite des articles et des ouvrages pour comptes rendus. Les manuscrits doivent être soumis dans l'original; les notes doivent
