At Brita Sweden our rugs are multi-taskers. Made of woven vinyl, they’re easy to care for and can be used both outside and in. They come in a range of sizes – to fill your whole living room or just that little space in front of the sink.

The timeless graphic patterns on both our rugs and blankets are designed to fit into any environment, in bright colors that bring energy to a room. They are just as at home surrounded by 21st century art as they are amidst 18th century wallpaper, in a country kitchen as well as a modern apartment.

Informed by our Swedish design heritage and inspired by genera-tions of creative women in our family, our rugs and blankets are a labor of love. Quality is of utmost importance to us. We only craft products that we would want to see in our own homes. They are designed to last a lifetime and bring joy into your world for a long time to come.

Brita Swedens rugs are made from vinyl foil and have been produced in Sweden using old Swedish weaving traditions. Much is still made by hand and the rugs may therefore vary in size slightly.

The rugs are free from heavy metals and toxic softeners.

You can use the rugs both indoors and outdoors but if they are exposed to direct sunshine for a long time, colors may fade. Don’t leave them outdoors in wintertime since the cold may cause the edgings to break.

care instructions: Rinse stain, don’t rub. Hand or machine wash with a small amount of detergent in cold water (30°C/86°F). No spincycle or tumble dry. Shape when wet and hang dry. May shrink up to 5%.

wool BlanketS

Our large soft blankets are made from 100% lambswool. They are designed by Brita Sweden and woven in Lithuania using traditional methods. Much is still made by hand and the blankets may therefore vary in size slightly.

care instructions: Handwash in cold water (30°C/86°F). Use a small amount of special wool deter-gent. Carefully shape when wet and dry flat.

The blankets have a natural scent of wool that will fade over time.
