2001 To aim a wider and internationalmarket, our first branch is founded:Omega Composants S.A.R.L., placedin Lyon - France.

2005 With a dynamic and farsighted businessvision, the acquisition of the companyItalweber, which untill that momentis a reference competitor in the "Power"sector, is finalized, giving birth to thegreatest Italian group for the supply ofcomponents for the electric protection.

2010 The new division Air Moving is inserted,specialized in the promotion and sale of industrial fans.

AIR MOVING

2009 The new plant in Assago isinaugurated, with wide commercialand technical offices and a fullyautomated warehouse of over 4000 sqm., which puts Omega in the forefront of logistics. 2015

Omega takes over a branch of businessconcerning the distribution in Italyof miniature lever switches, hencecompleting an already wide selection of products.

2017 Omega obtains ISO9001:2015 qualitycertification.

2018 Omega Fusibili acquires Fancos,an historical company of Fantini CosmiGroup operating in the automationmarket. This further step forward allows us to expand our already rich range of products.

1960 The company grows and becomes an S.R.L., with a new bigger laboratory. The Omega brand is born and it originates from the last letter of the Greek alphabet, already known as the electric resistance unit (Ohm).

1987 Omega is now an established companyon a domestic level. The catalogue has been extended and diversified, and commercial agreements with other prestigious foreign company.In this spirit of corporate renewal the brand Omega is redesigned giving birth to the actual logo.From now onward Omega will be recognizedas a reference of excellence. The propensityto quality, which has always distinguished us,will become the company slogan: "Technologyand Quality".

1947 Alessandro Molinari starts the production of fuses under Weber's license, creatinga laboratory in his apartment placed in Milan.

1985 The sudden development and the need to enlarge the warehouse push the company to move to an industrial area which is logistically better equipped. The new headquarter in Assago already hada suitable space for the planned expansion.

1981 Omega Fusibili is established and it becomes the sole agent of international brands as Bulgin, Eaton, EDK, distributing high quality electronic components. It is in this moment that turninginto "distributor" is bound to happen.

2008 The need to complete the offer with ULand BS fuses leads the companyto acquire, and later incorporateFusimport, untill then leader for suchproducts.

2011 Through the acquisition of threeimportant producers of transformers,Italweber Elettra is founded. Todaythe company represents a point ofreference in the Italian market andis the leader in the production of low and medium voltage transformers.

2014 Omega hits a new investment:the acquisition of the company Fusit which is shortly after incorporated.The potential and extraordinary synergybetween the two companies broughtto an efficient internal reorganization,but most of all to the possibilityof dealing with product-lines which can easily be integrated with Omega's range.

FUSIT1995 We make various real estate and logistics investments. The company is ready for the new millennium!

1988 Roberto Ciboldi enters the company, strengthening the family management.

2019 Through Italweber is acquired thehistorical company Ocmei, specializedin security in the electrical field.Omega obtains the ethical andenvironmental certification.Omega acquires Ermec, a Spanishdistributor of electronic andelectromechanical components basedin Barcelona, active for more than 25years in the Spanish and Portuguesemarket.

2020 The expansion of the automaticwarehouse is inaugurated, allowingOmega to double its logistics capacity.
