Here is a sample of work that best represents me as a graphic designer. As a designer, my work tends to incorporate a lot of illustrative elements and hand-written fonts. My design aesthetic is often feminine and ethereal, so I tend to draw inspiration from watercolors and window installations. I take every opportunity I can to step outside my computer and build things using scraps or random resources that I find around me.

sat down one night and made what I deemed to be “lucky beads.” I made at least 15 of them when I decided that sending bracelets in an envelope just wasn’t special enough. I decided to challenge myself with packaging them. After about three different comps, I decided on this one. It’s simply laid out but fun and unique and through this process, I learned just how important the entire package is in setting the tone for a product.
