THE HOLY FAMILY OF JESUS MARY & JOSEPH DECEMBER 30 & 31, 2017 Yes, for some, Christmas is “over”, but as a Catholic community, Christmas does not end until January 7, 2018 – The Feast of the Epiphany. As I was looking through greetings from family and friends on Christmas evening, I read this gem from my nephew and would like to share it with you. . . A wonderful sentiment as Christmas Day draws to it’s close. At the end of the day, as we wash the last few dishes and turn off the Christmas lights, alone with our thoughts at last, we realize that every- thing is OK. In that moment, we blow out the last candle with a smile of gratitude for what’s behind us and pull back the covers with a sense of hope for what’s ahead. And we rest. So I wish you all a Merry Christmas, look forward to a new year filled with many new memories, a Happy Epiphany and an end to the Christmas sea- son on January 7 th . The series on the Mass will re- sume next week. Yes, for some, Christmas is “over”, but

as a Catholic community, Christmas does not end until January 7, 2018 – The Feast of the Epiphany. As I was looking through greetings from family and friends on Christmas evening, I read this gem from my nephew and would like to share it with you. . .
