Program Report Emily Stamm, VP Programs

Here it is…the last newsletter article for me as VP Programs. Time sure has passed quickly! I have really enjoyed work-

ing for GCDA and each of you. It is always a good experience to be a part of the Board, seeing things from a different per-

spective. All of our GCDA Board members do an EXCELLENT job. I have been amazed at the professional work ethic

that each has shown throughout my 2 years on the Board. Certain times of the year become so busy for all of us, and I

love how the Board members help each other during vacations, health issues, family crisis, and other times of need.

Thank you to every one of you for helping and understanding.

Thank you to Jan Bowen who is taking over as VP Programs. She is starting the new year in a GRAND WAY: Jan teach-

ing in “JAN”uary! Love it! Her class project will be the Black and White Zentangle Pendant, and the flyer with all the

information is on page two of this newsletter. Please mail or give your money and registration form to me or to Jan. You

don’t want to miss this opportunity to work with her!

Information for JoAnn Heurich’s workshop is on page 3 in this newsletter, so check it out and sign up!

Thank you for your suggestions, help and support in planning our programs. All the classes and workshops for 2016

have been planned and the schedule is posted below. It is wonderful that we have so many members willing to share

their talents with us! Please come to our monthly meetings and take advantage of these classes and seminars!

And finally, make sure that your new year’s resolution includes lots of time for painting!

Happy New Year to each of you!

Happy Painting!

Emily
