~ REFLECTION ~ After reading today’s Gospel, take time to medi-tate on the following questions:

• What word or words in this passage caught your attention?

• What in this passage comforted you?

• What in this passage challenged you? After you meditate try living the Word this week by joining your parish or community celebration of National Migration Week to recognize the gifts that migrants and refugees bring to our culture and our Church.

Ways to Reflect on the Lord’s Epiphany

What conversion of mind, heart, and life is the Lord asking of me? Go and search diligently for the child. Where am I searching for religious meaning? How do I know if I find what I am searching for? They prostrated themselves and did him homage. How do I give God the honor He deserves? How does my re-lationship with God extend beyond petitioning for my needs? They departed for their country by another way. What old ways continue to lead me to God? What new ways do I need to embrace to grow closer to God and his Church?

¿Qué viejos caminos me siguen guiando hacia Dios?

safety rules into action. This video series teaches children to always “check first” with a parent, guardian, or other trusted adult before going anywhere, helping any-one, accepting anything, or getting into a car.
