The Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time – October 1, 2017
Do you feel something missing in your life?
Are you interested in learning more about the
Catholic faith?
Do you have friends or family members who are
questioning what Catholicism is all about?
Do you have Catholic family members or friends who have
fallen away from the faith?
We invite and welcome you and them to investigate the
truth about Catholicism by joining the RCIA group here at
OLMM Parish.
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a program
designed to help non-Catholics and non-practicing
Catholics learn more about Catholicism through a series of
classes, discussions and prayer. RCIA helps people grow
in faith and knowledge and a relationship with Jesus as
they consider becoming Catholic.
If you feel the RCIA process is something you or a friend/
family member might be interested in, please
contact Sherry Impastato at
[email protected] or 926-2206.

Our parish Children's Choir is
excited to be returning to the 9 am
Mass each Sunday. Best of all, we
have enough singers participating this year to FILL
OUR CHOIR LOFT! What a blessing!
If your child is in grades 3-8 and would be interested
in joining the choir in the future, please contact Mrs.
Jolene Nelson at [email protected] so they
can be added to the top of our wait list and contacted
if there is an opening.
Thanks to all our choir families for encouraging their
children to praise God, sanctify the faithful, and
beautify our liturgy with their sung prayer!

Below are just a couple of the CD titles available in our Lighthouse Media Collection:
Contagious Catholicism: The 7 Habits of Modern-Day Apostles
Internationally acclaimed speaker and author Chris Stefanick speaks about the importance of living a life of authenticity with a courageous commitment to love. He walks us through seven habits that we can use as modern-day apostles to effectively spread the good news to Jesus Christ. Following these lessons will help us to fulfill our calling to be fearlessly, joyfully Catholic, with a faith that is attractive, life-giving, and truly contagious. Encounter Christ First: Then Set the World on Fire
Curtis Martin, founder of FOCUS and world renowned authority on evangelization, shares how a personal encounter with Jesus is the key to following him with fidelity, gratitude, and joy. With humor and relatable examples, he also shows how experiencing Christ before evangelizing others is the biblical model witnessed to by the Apostles, and one that is certain to bear fruit in the life of any believer. We kindly ask for a donation of $4.00 per book (or otherwise specified suggested donation), $3.00 per CD, $2.00 per booklet and $0.50 per pamphlet so that we may continue this program. Please make all checks out to “OLMM.” Won’t you reach out and help bring someone home?
