The purpose of this training is to help conference presenters infuse diversity and cultural competency content into their workshops.

Just as ethics and confidentiality are core components of social work practice, diversity and cultural competency are key elements in all areas of social work education and practice.

Both NASW and CSWE place great emphasis on the importance of infusing diversity and cultural competency throughout the social work profession.
