Schedule uninterrupted time, and do not multi-task while on the call.
Disable your call-waiting.
Use your mute button or *6, except when making a comment or asking a question.
Call in on time, or just a couple of minutes ahead.
When commenting and/or asking a question, announce your name and where you are from, “Hi! I’m Ed from
Phoenix, and I wondered (question)...”
Always be brief and to the point.
Avoid cross-talk between class members which interrupts the flow of the class.
Pay attention, take lots of notes and have fun. This is a great way to learn!
