We are now registering for CCD classes, Kindergarten through Confirmation through adult/RCIA,
for the 2018-2019 year. If you would like to register your child or yourself, please visit the parish
office during office hours and fill out a registration form at your convenience. Remember, classes
start in August so take advantage and register early!

If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please contact Mary Shockley (575)799-6402. She
will place that individual that is in need of prayer into a circle of prayer. Parishioners of Sacred Heart
Church will then pray for those individuals to Almighty God. This is a wonderful ministry and privi-
lege for us to be able to pray for you. Please do not go another day without someone praying for you
or someone you know that truly needs it!

Aquí en esta parroquia tenemos una comunidad hispana muy grande. Tenemos
Misa en español todos los sábados a las 6PM y también tenemos Misa a las
5:30PM todos los jueves y clases de catecismo después. Ofrecemos estas clases y
platicas en español. Celebramos todos los sacramentos (bautismos, primeras
comuniones, matrimonios, todo) y también bendiciones como quinceañeras en es-
pañol. ¡Hazte parte de nuestra comunidad hispana muy vivaz!

Llame a la oficina para saber cuando será la próxima plática.
Estamos muy contentos de celebrar los bautismos aquí en español. Para bautizar aquí
tienes que 1) obtener y llenar los papeles, notando que la forma para los padrinos debe
ser firmada por su propio párroco. 2) asistir a la clase de bautismo que tenemos aquí en
español, el próximo será en julio. La clase es obligatoria para los padres del niño(a) y
para los padrinos también. 3) Llamar a la oficina, 575-763-6947, para hacer una cita
con el Padre Simón o el Diacono Juan. En la cita vamos a trabajar con usted para fijar
la fecha del bautizo; las fechas son flexibles. Haremos todo lo posible para programar
el bautizo cuando mejor funcione para usted y su familia.

Clovis. Tienen Go Karts y juegos para disfrutar y pasar un tiempo bueno con su familia de
nuestra iglesia. Por favor, todos son responsable de pagar y debes acompañar a tus niños.

Archdiocese of Santa Fe Annual Catholic Appeal His Mercy Endures Forever... Our Parish has to give $37,000 to support the work of the whole archdiocese.
So far $27,537 has been pledged and $21,367 paid. Thank you to those who have given!!!
But this means our current short-fall is approximately $9,463 which will come out of our Parish savings if people don’t contribute.
Also, of over 1,200 families in our Parish, so far only 100(!) families have participated or even pledged anything. Please help and please do not excuse yourself. Give $1 if that’s all you can.
Baptism Class
The next baptism class in English will be held on Tuesday, June 19th at 6PM. Remember, this class must be attended by both parents and Godparents.
A Farewell from the Sacred Heart Altar Society
After more than 50 years of existence, the Sacred Heart Altar Society has disbanded. The members would like to offer a sincere thanks to all parishioners, past and present, for their support to the Altar Society over the years. Thanks and God bless!
The food pantry operates every Saturday of the
month. Anyone interested in volunteering, please
come at 8:30AM!
We are also very much in need of volunteers every
Friday morning to help prepare for the food pantry on
Saturday.
We are in need of volunteers drivers for food box
deliveries!!!
This is a truly beautiful ministry; an essential part of living
the Gospel and really helping many in need here in our
community. The Food Pantry helps literally hundreds of

Weekday Masses for June 18th-22nd
Due to the Vacation Bible School, all daily Masses during the week of June 18th through the 22nd will be held at 8:30 a.m. All are welcomed to attend these Masses but they will be celebrated earlier so the children attending VBS can begin their week with a daily Mass.
