Dear parishioners and friends: Are You Ready For “The Journey?” In October, our parish will begin a faith formation program called “The Journey.” This program was developed by the Paulist Fathers and its purpose is to help us deepen our relationship with Jesus. To help you encounter the love of Christ in your heart. In the next few weeks we will ask you to sign up. We hope to have sessions at both our St. Lawrence and St. Luke Church sites, and because it is a parish program we will have it available in English, Spanish, and for our youth. It is quite simple. A group facilitator will read a passage of scripture, then together we watch a short but powerful video that gives a modern take on the bible passage. Afterwards we break up into small groups for discussion. Books and weekly prayer guides will be available to help us throughout the week. It is a 6 week program and we will meet 1 time per week for about 90 minutes. There is nothing more important in life than our relationship with the Lord. So many are hungry to deepen that relationship. I pray this program helps you and all members of our community to know the love of God and to share the joy of the gospel. Please consider this program and invite your family and friends, especially those who may have drifted away, to join us. All our welcome. RCIA Have you completed your First Holy Communion or Confirmation? Have you ever thought about learning more about our Catholic Faith and becoming a member of our Church family? Is your spouse from a different religious tradition and interested in learning more about the faith? If you answered yes to these questions then perhaps our RCIA Program is for you. The RCIA is a journey and no commitment is necessary. It is a process whereby you deepen your relationship with God and your knowledge of the Catholic Faith. If the Lord wills, then perhaps that leads you to the celebration of the Sacraments. We are here to help you along your journey of faith. To learn about the parish RCIA program please call Barbara Buehler @ 856-237-9470.

God Bless you and your family,

Father Vince

Toda nuestra bienvenida. RCIA ¿Has completado tu Primera Comunión o Confirmación?

Dios te bendiga a ti y a tu familia, Padre Vicente

All are welcome – especially families! We will provide chairs for those who want to participate but cannot stand for an hour. Then we will pray the rosary in front of the shrine. 3. Do you know someone who is trying to conceive? Let them know of this special Mass in honor of St. Gerard Majella, the patron saint of mothers, babies and those trying to conceive. The Mass to Celebrate New Life in honor of St. Gerard will take place on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at 7 P.M. at St. Bridget Parish in Glassboro. If you know of anyone who is trying to conceive, or who is trying to adopt, please encourage them to attend. Pregnant moms and babies born in the in the last year will receive a special blessing. Babies and children are most welcome at this Mass! 4. There will be a Public Square Rosary Rally on Saturday, October 14, at noon at the Gazebo in Veterans Park, Chews Landing Road, next to the Gloucester Township Municipal Building.
