ALL ARE SENT Fifty days after Easter Sunday we celebrate the fulfillment of all God's promises in the feast of Pentecost, a feast that has sometimes been called the birthday of the church. One last time we are r e m i n d e d t h a t w e
Christians have received the Holy Spirit, not for our own benefit, but to enable us to follow our Christian v o c a t i o n . The centerpiece of the scriptures for Pentecost is the account in Acts of the Apostles of the sending of the Holy Spirit to the disciples. The other readings for this Sunday help us to understand what it means to live out our Christian vocation. Paul's letter shows us the gifts and fruits that the Holy Spirit gives to us. John's Gospel reminds us that Jesus has sent all his disciples to share his forgiveness and peace, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We will be offering arts & crafts for kids ages 4 -13, on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the month of July from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Activities will include: nature scavenger hunt, painting, water fun, games, experiments, music, dancing, sto-ries, and more! Price is $50 per child, siblings $40 per child. Space is lim-ited. Registration will begin on Monday, June 4th. Please stop by the office.

Traditional Spanish and Creole in-classroom classes are offered at:

St. Bartholomew (Spanish) – Thursdays, 7:30-9:30 pm
Online Program is offered in English or Spanish, and incorporates 8 five-week courses with in-person meetings over a period of time of two academic years.
