André and Élida are dating for a short time.

In real life and in fiction.

SYNOPSIS

André and Élida wake up together one more day. The sun is shinning on the

streets outside. There is a gap in their darken bedroom between the window

and the curtain that creates a camera obscura effect on the ceiling. They

stare at it and talk about being a couple, wondering whether this will last.

They then go out to catch a bus that will take someone away.

ABOUT THE DIRECTORAndré Novais Oliveira was born in 1984. He has a degree in History

from Pontifícia Universidade Católica, Minas Gerais (PUC MG) and Film

Studies from Escola Livre de Cinema. He has directed the shorts Uma

Homenagem a Aluizio Netto, Fantasmas, Domingo, and co-directed with

seven friends the feature Estado de Sítio. His films have been selected in

over 50 festivals worldwide, winning over 20 awards in Recife (Brazil),

Glasgow (Scotland) and Rio. He produced Contagem (winner Best

Director at 43º Festival de Cinema de Brasília) & Dona Sônia pediu

uma arma para seu vizinho Alcides (official selection in Rotterdam

and Clermont-Ferrand). His latest film, Pouco mais de um mês, had its

world premiere at the Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes in 2013 and was

entirely conceived, from writing to editing, in a week. His next project is

Ela volta na quinta. 

ABOUT FILMES DE PLÁSTICOA production company based in Contagem, in the state of Minas Gerais (Brazil), it was

founded in 2009 by André Novais Oliveira, Gabriel Martins & Maurílio Martins. Filmes

de Plástico has produced shorts and features, both fiction and documentaries, as well as

video-clips and industrials, always looking for innovative forms of creativity.
