Peter’s Pence Collection

Next weekend we will have a second collection for the “Peter’s Pence Collection” which

provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to carry out his charitable works around the

world. The proceeds benefit the most disadvantaged: victims of war, oppression, and disas-

ters. Join our Holy Father as a witness of charity to those who are suffering.

“There is much that we can do to benefit the poor, the needy, and those who suffer,

and to favor justice, promote reconciliation and build peace,” stated by Pope Francis.

Sacred Heart Parish and School Lawrenceburg, Tennessee Position Announcement

Sacred Heart School is seeking a dedicated, crea-tive person for a position for the 2015-2016 school year.

The candidate must hold a Tennessee teaching license with certification in Elementary Education. They should be able to use creative and challeng-ing teaching techniques, uphold strong discipline practices in the classroom, incorporate faith ele-ments throughout their curriculum and integrate technology into lesson plans. A working knowledge of Tennessee state standards and the ability to develop a curriculum that exceeds these standards is also important.

Sacred Heart Parish and School Lawrenceburg, Tennessee Position Announcement

School Cafeteria/Cook Sacred Heart School is seeking a Cook for the Caf-eteria.

This position is part time, routinely working 25 hours/week.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Primary responsibilities are to plan, prepare and serve food according to the USDA guidelines for school cafeterias.

Basic knowledge of food handling, preparing and serving food for a large group Basic knowledge of menu planning

Other Skills or Requirements:

Good communication and interpersonal skills Prior experience working with children and the general public

TOTUS TUUS is a Summer Catechetical Program for Children and Youth. It will be held at Sacred Heart Parish in Lawrenceburg July 19th – 24th.

The schedule will be as listed:

Grade School (Grades 1-6): Mon-Fri. 9:00a.m.-2:30p.m.

Middle and High School (Grades 7-12): Sun-Thurs 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m.
