Eucharistic Adoration

St. Roch Church will be open for Eucharistic Adora-

tion every First Friday from 9am—10am. Every

2nd, 3rd, and 4th Friday we invite you to join our ora-

tory group 9am—10am to pray before the Blessed

Sacrament for all priests.

Baptisms

Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00

PM and 2:00 PM in both churches. If you would like to

schedule a baptism, please call the rectory. New par-

ents are required to attend one Baptism class on the

first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. Our next class

will be held Mon., August 7 at 7pm in the St. Roch rec-

tory. You must call the rectory to register for this class.

Register If you would like to register with the parish, please

call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.

We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-

sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-

mation are only issued to registered members of the

parish.

Wedding

To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,

consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-

posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance

at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning Classes is

required.

Anointing of the Sick

Communion to the Homebound

Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness

occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are

confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-

ments can be made to bring communion to those un-

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

(RCIA) is the process by which adults are

brought into the Catholic Church. If you

have never been baptized, confirmed, or re-

ceived First Holy Communion, or if you are

a member of another Christian Church and

wish to become a member of the Catholic

Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin

Mary: There will be 7pm Vigil masses in both

churches on Monday, August 14. On Tuesday, Au-

gust 15 we will have our regular morning masses at

8am in St Roch Church and 9am in St Adalbert

Church.

Toiletries Donations for Veterans: For his Eagle

Scout project, one of our faithful parishioners is seek-

ing donations of toiletries for our veterans in the VA

hospital. These items are not provided to our veterans

by the hospital so your donation would be a wonder-

ful way to thank someone for serving our country.

Please put all donations in the large white containers

near the church entrances. Thank you.

Feast of St. Roch: Wednesday, August 16 is the

Feast of St. Roch. There will be a special Mass in St.

Roch Church at 7pm. Fr. Diego will celebrate this

mass which will include a blessing with the relic and

distribution of prayer cards.

Food Pantry: The food pantry will be open on Tues-

day, August 8 from 4pm-5pm. Please stop by if you

can use some assistance.

Christmas Fair Committee Meeting: There will be

a Christmas Fair Committee meeting on Tuesday, Au-

gust 15 at 7pm in the St Roch Rectory.

Save the date! The Immaculate Spouse of the Holy

Spirit Prayer Group invites you to a special Mass in

St Roch Church on Tuesday, September 19. Join us

for praise and worship at 6:30pm. 7pm Mass will be

celebrated by Fr. Albin Roby. Light refreshments

will follow in the Parish Hall.

Fiesta de San Roque: Miércoles 16 de agosto es la

Fiesta de San Roque. Habrá una Misa especial en la

Iglesia de San Roque a las 7pm. Fr. Diego celebrará

esta misa que incluirá una bendición con la reliquia y

la distribución de las tarjetas de oración.

Catechismo: La inscripción para nuestras clases de

catecismo de septiembre ha comenzado. $125 para el

primer niño, $50 para cada niño adicional. Por favor

pase por la rectoría en días laborables de 9am - 3pm

para más información. Necesitaremos una copia del

Certificado de Bautismo de su hijo para registrar a su

hijo. Tenga en cuenta que la preparación para la

Comunión y la Confirmación es de dos años.

Los Bautismos se llevan a cabo los sábados y domin-

gos en ambas iglesias. Si desea programar un bauti-

Our First Communion and Confirmation programs require

two years of preparation for each sacrament.

Memorial Mass for Rev. Fr. Raymond J. Dolan

Fr. Raymond J. Dolan passed away on June 30,

2017. As you may know, Fr. Dolan was a Carmelite

priest who assisted our parish by celebrating weekday

and weekend masses the last two years.

We will have a Memorial Mass for Fr. Dolan on

Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 7:00 PM at St. Roch

Church. Please join us in prayer for him.
