Important Instruction

Assemble & operate machine after reading completely this manual.

Specification

• Power Supply :- 230 V AC 50 Hz

• Power Consumption 40 W

• Cable Length :- 3 meters

• Filter Media rating :- 3 to 5 microns

• Filtration area :- 690 square cm

• Continuous usage time :- maximum 1 hour

• Empty weight of unit :- 2.3 Kg Approximate.

• Water filled weight of unit :- 3.3 Kg Approximate.

• Suitable for water tank depth :-1600 mm maximum ( This may be extended up to 2500

by extending handle length but cable end should be kept away from water.

• Machine’s Materials of Construction: - Poly Propylene, ABS, UPVC.

Unpack the box

Remove machine from packing. Connect bottom handle pipe to machine by thread fitting.

Also connect top handle pipe to bottom handle pipe by thread fitting. Fix power supply cord

in handle grip. Check tightness of filter body with top cover. Now machine is ready for use.

Refer figure 2 for pictorial view of assembling.

First time use

Please make sure for following sequential parameters before use.

1. Water tank to be cleaned should have water level sufficient to submerse the filtration

machine. Here minimum water level in tank should be 450 mm (1 ½ feet) & maximum

up to tank’s overflow point.

2. Make sure that rated power supply is live & it should be at approachable distance by

device cable.

3. Avoid water makeup in tank during cleaning operation by stopping water supply pump

or by isolating cock.

4. Remove bottom brush protection cover by pulling down.

5. Insert device in water tank.

6. Water bubbling will start to replace air content from filter body. Wait till removal of

complete air. This will take about 2 to 3 minutes. Slightly change the handle tilting

angle with keeping machine in same location to remove the complete air content.

7. Now start power supply.

8. The flow indicator will show clear water flow indication at top of unit. If flow

indicator is wide open, the machine is working smoothly. This shows that device is

now in operation.

9. Slowly move the device to deposited sediment portion.

10. Move forward slowly with absorption of bottom depots from tank.

11. For hard deposition, rotate the machine clockwise or anticlockwise on same location

till it loosens & get absorbed in device. This should be done till water looks clear

around bottom part of machine.

12. If sediment is having heavy particles just like sand, slightly push the handle to suck it

from its position with required movement of machine.

13. Observe the opening of flow indicator hole. If indicator hole narrows down, isolate the

power supply and remove the unit for filter cleaning.

Filter Cleaning

A filter cleaning is to be carried out during following situations.

1. For long time storage

2. After Cleaning of tank

During filter cleaning following different methods may be used.

Use clean water filled small bucket which will allow complete submerse of filter unit. Scrub

with brush to remove visible deposits. Finally clean with fresh water. Now filter media is

ready for re use or you may allow it to dry it in sunlight for storage.

The dusty water may be used for tree or small plantation.

Another method is to keep it in sunlight for a day. It will allow it to dry out completely. Now

sediment deposition on filter surfaces is in dry condition. Use vacuum cleaner to absorb it by

applying vacuum on outer surfaces only.

Storage for long time

Users are advised, do not keep machine in wet condition for storage after use. After every

use, please clean & dry the filter media. Allow machine to drain out all water content.

Machine may be packed in box or stored vertically. Please do not forget to put on bottom

brush protection base cover.

Do not use it for following application

1. Industrial application. ( This is only domestic application model, For Industrial

application please contact us with all liquid and application details )

2. Chemicals or solvents.

3. Water with abrasives content in high quantity.

4. Water with solid size more than 5 mm.

5. Muddy water.

6. For tanks which is having very high & thick deposition of sludge or sediment. For

such tanks we also recommend to empty out & clean first by other suitable methods.

Afterwards during regular cleaning, this device may be used frequently.

7. Continuous operation for more than one hour or where indicator may not indicate

flow.

Tank Preparation for cleaning

1. The tank to be cleaned should be minimum water level of 450 mm (1 ½ feet) or filled

completely.

2. Do not clean the water tank which is having water level which will not allow device’s

bottom head to submerse completely in water.

3. Do not plan to clean tank during water makeup, this will disturb bottom deposited

sediment and it will take more time for cleaning.

4. If possible plan for tank cleaning after 6 to 8 hours of water makeup. This time period

will allow sediment to deposit completely.

5. Do not move the device in water with speedy movement, it will disturb settled

impurities.

6. If permissible, add alum to speedup sediment settling process. This will fast settling

process as well as it will reduce tank cleaning time.

Safety precautions for using device

1. Do not alter the design or application.

3. Use power supply as per specification only.

4. Use genuine spares only for better performance.

5. If cable is damaged, get unit serviced through authorized service provider or

manufacturer.

6. Electrical components are not repairable, for replacement please call service provider

or manufacturer.

7. Keep it away from small child.

8. Keep cable end dry and away from water source.

9. Do not operate it in dry or empty or partially water filled condition.

10. Do not start power supply to machine before completely removal of air from machine.

This can be verified by looking at bubbling stop from machine body by slight

movement.
