Keeping God's House clean We are seeking about 10 people, both men & women who are willing to join a team to do seasonal cleaning of the church. Twice a year, just prior to Christmas and then Easter we will do a more in-depth cleaning of the church. Things like oiling the beautiful wood items in the church and cleaning the pews. Our vision is to gather for a maximum of four hours a day or two before the event. More hands, less work and time needed. Please prayerfully consider becoming on of God's Housekeepers. Phase 2 Giving Weekend Starting in April, the first weekend of each month will be known as Phase 2 Giving Weekend. Parishioners can expect an update on where we stand relative to our goal of adding new space for St. Juan Diego to hold classes and events and go about the business of our church community. Parish leaders update everyone on two goals: $2 million in pledges and $1 million to start construction. Most important, it will be a time for parishioners to make an extra sacrificial donation to the fundraising effort. If you have already made a pledge, drop your envelope in the basket during the second collection. If you haven’t made a pledge, contact the office about making one. Thank you for your support.

Our Lady of Peace Retreat House is hosting a Confident Catholics Workshop, on April 1st , from 9am to 5pm. This event is geared towards helping adults strengthen their witness to the Catholic faith. Sessions include “Speaking Strategies”, “Listening Strategies”, “Legal Protections of Religion in Oregon”, “Prayer as the Foundation of Apostolic Life”, and “Resources for Learning about Your Faith.” Come together with other adults from across the Archdiocese and build the confi-dence to share your faith in everyday life!

Join us for an Ecumenical pilgrimage, Beginning at
Bethel Congregational United Church of Christ 5150 SW Watson Avenue, Beaverton
Ending at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 5th and Franklin Avenue, Beaverton
The Walk is a one-mile pilgrimage through downtown Beaverton, with stops at
several different “stations”. At each station we will reflect, pray and share stories of the injustices we experience in our lives, as well as witness to Christ's power for transformation and resurrection present in our community. Walking between the stations, participants carry a large cross to remind us of the cross that Christ
carried over 2000 years ago and which is still being carried today.
We invite Christians from every denomination to join us for the Walk and to reflect together on how we can better understand and carry out
