A Note from the Administrator...
Nuestra comunidad filipina lo ha hecho de nuevo! Año tras año su festival anual Luau recauda dinero, comida y mucha diversión para nuestra parroquia. Este año con su donación de $ 10,089.00 se pagará la primera mitad del costo para re-hacer el patio fuera de nuestro salón parroquial. (Una vez que la renovación de la iglesia comience, podemos necesitar este patio para el paso a las misas que se realizarán en este salón.) Maraming Salamat Po! En otra nota, la próxima semana esperamos con interés la visita del P. Romeo Seleccion, para hacer un llamado de misión. Fr. Our Filipino Community has done it again! Year after year their annual Luau raises money, food and much much laughter for our parish. This year their $ 10,089.00 donation will pay the first half of what it will cost to re-do the large patio outside our parish hall. (Once church renovations get underway, we may need this patio for overflow at Masses moved to the hall.) Maraming Salamac Po! On another note, next week we look forward to a visit from Fr. Romeo Seleccion, here to make a mission appeal. Fr. Romeo is a special vicar for Bishop Barnes … and one of the happiest priests I know.

LA SALETTE MISSIONARIES MISSION APPEAL
The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette (MS) - an international religious congregation of priests and brothers, was founded in response to the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at La Salette, France in September 19, 1846, to two children: Maximin Giraud and Melanie Calvat. The La Salette Missionaries were given a message: one of RECONCILIATION - a call to CONVERSION. Today, the La Salette Missionaries are serving in 25 countries around the world. Wherever they minister, they make Mary’s message of reconciliation “known to all God’s people”. FR. ROMEO N. SELECCION, MS, a member of the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, and presently the Episcopal Vicar of the San Bernardino Pastoral Region of the Diocese of San Bernardino, is coming to St. Margaret Mary Parish to preach and appeal for your prayers and generous financial assistance for the missionary works of the La Salette Missionaries around the world on the weekend of September 23/24, 2017. Please be generous as we continue to support the evangelization works of the universal Church through the missionary endeavors of the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette.
