ST. PETER’S PARISH – UPDATES – March 25, 2020 FROM OUR PASTOR Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, I hope you are coping with the difficult situation that we find ourselves in. I want you to know that I am thinking of you and I am here to help. The temporary suspension of all public Masses in our Parish and restrictions on the celebration of the other sacraments are especially hard on all of us as the Eucharist and the sacraments are the very heart of our Catholic faith. We are making these sacrifices out of chari- ty and for the sake of the common good. I encourage all our faithful to be to be vigilant about personal cleanliness and keeping appropriate distances from others. I am reaching out to those in need at this dif- ficult time, especially those who are elderly, vulnerable and isolated. Also, please feel free to contact us should you need assistance. An Outreach page is being continually updated on the diocesan website. The page contains resources for the faithful including online Masses, articles, links to Catholic publishers and activities for children, youth and families. The link (https://dol.ca/) is available on our parish website. https://stpetersgoderich.dionet.org/ Also note there are links to live streaming Masses, Rosaries etc. This Lenten season, we are united in prayer for those who are suffering from COVID-19 and for those who are caring for them. May God have mercy on us! May Mary, Help of Christians, intercede for us! Sincerely yours in Christ, Father Ronnie Tagnines Online Masses Please Note the following can be accessed via our website https://stpetersgoderich.dionet.org/ With masses being canceled across the country the Daily TV Mass offers Mass each day on television and the internet.
