FIRE PITS: The Gabions that will form the structures for
the fire pits on West Island are currently being pre-
pared. One fire pit will be constructed on the beach at
Scout Park and the second one will be constructed at
North Point. These will allow anyone wishing to have a
bonfire on the beach to do so in a safe and contained
manner that does not leave unsightly debris and hazards
for other users of the area. We hope the community en-
joys these new additions to improving the amenity on the
beaches.

A nice old lady on a bus offers the driver some peanuts. He’s happy to take some. He asks her after a while why she isn’t having any herself. “Oh, young man,” she says, “they’re too hard on my poor teeth, I could-n’t.” “Why did you buy them at all then?” wonders the driver. “You see, I just love the chocolate they’re covered in!” “What do you call a guy with a rubber toe? Roberto.’’ “Did you hear about the italian chef that died? He pasta way.’’ ‘’What do you call a Mexican who has lost his car? Carlos’’ “My boss told me to have a good day. So I went home.’’ ‘’Today at the bank, an old lady asked me to help check her bal-ance. So I pushed her over.’’ ‘’Why couldn't the bicycle stand up? Because it was two tired!’’ Where do you find a cow with no legs? Right where you left it’. Why did the fish get bad grades? Because it was below sea level.
