I believe that we will all come to realize the truth of the words by Dietrich Bonhoeffer: The table fellowship of Christians implies obli- gation. It is our daily bread that we eat, not my own. We share our bread. Thus we are firmly bound to one another not only in the Spirit but in our whole physical being. The one bread that is given to our fellowship links us together in a firm covenant. Now none dares go hungry as long as another has bread, and he who breaks this fellowship of the physical life also breaks the fellowship of the Spirit. The Mission Trip to Jamaica in so many ways has and will continue to highlight the fellow- ship that binds us together as sisters and brothers - children of God sharing this lovely planet earth. It is Meister Eckhart of the 13th century who expressed this fellowship with these words: For not only bread but all things necessary for sustenance in this life are given on loan to us with others and because of others and for others to others through us.Peace, Fr. Tom 2

The FORMED website has a great audio drama about St. Francis.

If You Think You Know St. Francis, You're in for a Surprise

In this exciting audio drama from Augustine Institute Radio Theatre, follow the fun-loving son and

celebrated soldier of Assisi as he is transformed by the Gospel. Captivated by Christ, Francis trades wealth for poverty, embraces lepers, shakes hands

with the Pope, debates a Sultan, and touches the lives of millions.

"What a brilliant story, beautifully told. The production quali-ty—from the writing and acting to the music and sound—is

excellent. I was so moved and inspired..."
