time. It’s never too late to reach out to those in need and

give them the support they need. Catholic Charities

envelopes can be found near the doors of the church.

Please fill one out and drop it in the collection basket.

Thank you for supporting Catholic Charities New

Hampshire. Your gift moves lives forward.

So far, we have raised $43,000 as a parish! Our Parish Goal is $61,000.

The following couples recently participated in

the beautiful sacrament of Holy Matrimony:

Eli J. Egan-Anderson & Lauren R. Gormer

Vladimir Mujakovic & Christina L. Carroll

David D. Gauthier & Megan E. Browne

We pray that God will continue to bless them and strengthen them as they begin

their new life together as husband and wife.

Welcome Visitors We wish to extend a warm welcome to all who attend Mass with us each weekend

as visitors to OLMM/St. Elizabeth. We hope that you will make our Church your Church away from home.

The Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time - August 12, 2018

We invite you to join us this coming school year for our Faith Formation programs:

K-5 and Junior High Edge on Sunday Mornings

1-5 and Junior High Edge on Tuesday Evenings

High School Life Teen on Sunday Evenings

If you have already registered your family, terrific! ☺

If not; we hope your family will be joining us this year and that we will hear from you

very soon. I want to make sure we have enough supplies and most importantly, enough Cate-

chists and Core Members to share the faith with your cherubs. We invite you to pick up a paper registration at

the church entrances or register online at https://goo.gl/ZaoQv6. If you have financial concerns, you can set

up payments online or with me personally; we want your child more than your $. We hope to see many of

your smiling faces in our programs in September!

God bless, Sherry and Chris ☺

Do you feel something missing in your life?

Are you interested in learning more about the

Catholic faith?

Do you have friends or family members who are

questioning what Catholicism is all about?

Do you have Catholic family members or friends who

have fallen away from the faith?

We invite and welcome you and them to investigate the

truth about Catholicism by joining the RCIA group

here at OLMM Parish, which will resume in September.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a

program designed to help non-Catholics and non-

practicing Catholics learn more about Catholicism

through a series of classes, discussions and prayer.

RCIA helps people grow in faith and knowledge and a

relationship with Jesus as they consider becoming

Catholic.

If you feel the RCIA process is something you or a

friend/family member might be interested in, please

contact Sherry Impastato at

[email protected] or 926-2206.

I look forward to hearing from you,

God bless, Sherry Impastato

Become the woman of grace God created you to be!

The Women of Grace Foundational Study, FULL OF GRACE: WOMEN AND THE ABUNDANT LIFE is a dynamic program for Catholic women, encouraging study participants to come to a fuller understanding of their dignity and vocation as daughters of God. They'll dig deep into Catholic teaching to examine their gift of authentic femininity using the study text "FULL OF GRACE", Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, citations from Vatican II and other Magisterial Documents, as well as the biographies of 16 Catholic women saints. As they learn the great gift of authentic femininity and how to live it out in the world today, hearts are healed, lives are changed, and souls are saved!

Below are just a couple of the CD titles available in our Lighthouse Media Collection:

The Forgotten Virtue: Pathway to Holiness God opposes the proud but bestows favor on the humble. (1 Peter 5:5) In this revealing talk, Fr. Casey shares how wisdom and blessings come through a healthy cultivation of the virtue of humility, and he equips us to be vigilant in avoiding that often subtle temptation and danger to the soul, which is pride. He shows how humility allows us to see things, and ourselves, as they truly are, and how pride makes us prone to serious mistakes, both in our spiritual and practical lives. At the end of this presentation is a bonus segment from Confession by Fr. Larry Richards. Praying the Rosary Like Never Before Dr. Edward Sri is a nationally sought Catholic speaker who appears regularly on EWTN, and is a founding leader of FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). In this discussion of his book "The New Rosary in Scripture: Biblical Insights on Praying the Twenty Mysteries" (Servant Books), Dr. Sri shares John Paul II's practical strategies for praying the Rosary better, so that you can encounter Jesus more deeply in prayer. We kindly ask for a donation of $4.00 per book (or otherwise specified suggested donation), $3.00 per CD, $2.00 per booklet and $0.50 per pamphlet so that we may continue this program. Please make all checks out to “OLMM.” Won’t you reach out and help bring someone home?

Highlighting Our Advertisers Did you know that Quicksilver advertises on the back pages of our bulletin? Any business you give them benefits our parish in the publication of our bulletin. We thank all of our advertisers.

Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible If you would like to have a deeper relationship with God and a better understanding of your faith, then join us for Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible. You will not only benefit personally from being part of this study; you will also help to bring about a profound renewal in our parish as we grow closer to Christ. Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible helps you uncover the story woven through Scripture with its clever narrative approach and ingenious color-coded Bible Timeline. It is a great way to get the “big picture” of the Bible and see how our Catholic Faith is rooted in Scripture. You’ll see how the Bible reveals God’s loving plan for your life, and you will learn helpful ways to put your faith into practice. The study includes a series of eight informative and engaging half-hour videos presented by Jeff Cavins. Each video will be followed by a lively group discussion. Classes begin the week of September 23 and run to November 15. Morning sessions meet at St. Theresa's Parish Center on Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 AM; evening sessions are Thursdays at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Marian Hall from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Cost is $25.00. You will receive a color-coded Bible Timeline Chart, a Bible study workbook, and the ability to stream the study videos online at your convenience. For more information or to sign up contact Judi Park at 603-926-6131 or [email protected].
