SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM- Baptisms take place at St. John’s on the fourth Sunday of the month immediately following the 11:00 AM Mass. And at St. Charles after the 9:30 AM Mass. Baptismal class is on the 3rd Thursday in St. John’s Church. SACRAMENT OF PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION- Saturday: St. Charles 3:15 – 3:45 PM and St. John’s 4:15 – 4:45 PM. Or anytime by appointment. SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE- Arrangements should be made at least six months in advanced. Please call the rectory office for more information. SACRAMENT OF THE ANOINTING OF THE SICK AND HOLY COMMUNION Please notify the rectory if anyone is in the hospital, infirmed, or homebound and desires a visit from a priest to offer the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick and/or Holy Communion. Canonical Installation Mass and Luncheon On Sunday September 30th at the 11:00 AM Mass at St. John’s church, Fr. John F. X. Palatucci will be installed as the first pastor of St. John the Evangelist and St. Charles Borromeo Parish. The Most Rev. Peter Byrne, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of New York, will preside. Afterward at 2:00 PM there will be a luncheon at the Old Drover Inn, Dover Plains, NY. The luncheon requires a $25.00 per-person reservation fee. Seating is limited to 200 people, so please RSVP no later than September 17. Please call the rectory office for more information.

The Catholic Daughters will be hosting a parish food drive and collecting items in support of the Pawling Resource Center and the Center for Compassion in Dover after all the masses on the weekend of

Healing Weekend Beginning Experience of the Hudson Valley is offering a healing weekend from October 5 to 7 at the St. Lawrence Friary in Beacon, NY. This

September 22nd - YM Hiking - 1:30 - 6 PM(ish), Appalachian Trail - Meet us at St. John's so we can carpool to the AT trail entrance off Rte 55. This will be a 5-mile hike - 4 miles up to the summit of Cat Rock, where we will stop for snack and evening prayer. We will then hike a mile down and pick up will be at the W Dover Rd. entrance. Join us for this fun, outdoor adventure!
