email Kerri and she will be happy to work with you to get them printed. We will be displaying these pictures during
our Kickoff Campaign Party on October 24th.
If you could please have the pictures to us by no later than October 10th, it would be much appreciated.

returning EMEs to serve at our Sunday Liturgies.
Requirements for being a Lay Ministers are quite easy also: Be a registered member of the Parish even if you
are a Winter resident (you are allowed to be registered at more than one Parish), have a copy of your sacramental records on file with the Rectory, and be current in your sacraments. You only need to serve one to two times a
month and at your normal mass time.
Please contact Mike & Ronda Morse at 464-1703.
Catholic Young Adults
We had a great time at trivia night with
Fr. Daniel recently!
Come join us at a great young adults retreat, at Holy Name of Jesus parishin Melbourne,
and a live band swing dance at the Melbourne Ballroom, Saturday, Sep. 29! (No need to
bring a dance partner, or have dance experience. Please email us at [email protected]
if you'd like to carpool together!
All our upcoming events are on our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/saintayoungadults/
We are in need of Greeters and Ambassadors!
Greeters wear their best smile and welcome all parishioners to church at all masses.
They hand out bulletins, and other papers as needed
We are also in need of Ambassadors. They are assigned a new family of parishioners according to their family
composition. Ambassadors get to contact the new family to welcome them to our parish, and if possible, arrange to
meet before or after a mass, or even coffee. This way the new family now has another family they know.
If interested, please contact Karina Priest at 561-329-4515 or by email at [email protected]

Show that You Believe in Jesus!
In today’s second reading Saint James tells us that we can’t just say that we
have faith. We need to show it by what we do. Being a followed of Jesus means
believing in Him, and also doing what He wants us to do!
Do you know what God wants you to do?
He wants you to obey His commandments. That means He wants you to listen to your parents and teachers, and not steal or lie
or be mean to other kids.
You can also show your faith by doing good
works, like being nice to other people. What are some kind things you can do for
someone today and tomorrow?
www.thekidsbulletin.com
Answer to front page: take up his cross and follow Me. Answer to Inside puzzle: disciples said John, Elijah,
prophet, Peter, CHRIST
A Family Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of our family. Enlighten our hearts and
minds that we may live more fully this vocation to love.
In our daily life and work, may we reflect the self-giving
which you. O Father, eternally show with your Son and the Holy Spirit.
Let your love be evident in the peace that reigns in our home and in the faith we profess and live. May our family always be a place of generosity,
understanding, forgiveness and joy.
Kindly give us the wisdom and courage to be witnesses to your eternal design for the family; and grant that the Holy Family of Nazareth may always guide our path to
holiness as a family.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen
Would you be Interested in hosting the St. Anastasia NET Team Missionaries in your home?
As you may have heard, St. Anastasia Parish will be hosting the NET Team Missionaries for a third year! The NET Team will again aid our Parish’s youth ministry program. We are inviting you to consider hosting a few members of the NET Team in your home for a small portion of the year. Hosting the NET Team missionaries is a vital component to the success of the program. Host homes are the ideal because they provide additional ministry opportunities for the team!
We have plenty of openings that need to be filled and would greatly appreciate the donation of your home, time and hospitality for the team. Each host home will house 2 or more NET team members for 2 weeks. A minimum of two NET team members of the same gender can be housed together, however larger same gendered groups or the whole team may be housed for a short time in. No team member can ever be housed alone!
Team members travel with their own sleeping bags, personal items and are flexible with where they sleep. Additional requirements will include providing meals such as breakfast in your home, packing or providing money for lunch and sometimes dinner. NET Team missionaries will be home 2-3 evenings a week for dinner.
If you are interested in helping out from September 2018 to May 2019 please complete the Host Family Information Sheet at the bottom of the page and place it in the collection basket or return it to the St. Anastasia Parish Office.
