At Christ the King, our liturgies are truly special and that is because of the
wonderful men, women and youth who serve in the many ministries. During
the December 1st & 2nd Masses, all parish ministers will receive a special blessing from Father Steve. For those who serve, he will call you up to stand
in front for this blessing.
That All May Be One: How Christ is working even now to bring
Christians back together
Led by our Archdiocesan Ecumenical Officer Nick Jesson, the next discussion on ways that Christ the King Parish can work together with our Christian neighbors will take place on Tuesday, November 13th in the Mooney Room at 7:00 pm.
All are welcome. Please join us for cookies, conversation and a lively exchange of information and ideas. The topic for this evening will be: Do good neighbors need fences? What still divides Catholics from other Christians?
Please note the change in time. The time has been moved up to 7:00 pm because there will be no 7:00 pm Mass that evening.
For further information, contact Karen McBride at 306-522-9088 or kerriemarg@gmail.com
Pope Benedict, in marking the 2013 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, invited all “to pray, asking insistently of God, for the great gift of unity between all of the Lord’s disciples. May the Holy Spirit’s limitless strength arouse us to the sincere commitment to seek unity, so that we might all profess together that Jesus is the Saviour of the world.”
Deacon Ricardo Escalante
will be ordained to the Priesthood on Friday, November 30, 2018 at
Holy Rosary Cathedral, Regina at 7:00 pm.
A reception will follow.
We ask that you please pray for Ricardo and for vocations to the priesthood
and religious life.
The Conquest Boys early Advent project called “In the Spirit of Saint Nicholas” will once again be promoting lives of the saints as well as selling Purdy’s Chocolates to raise money for those in need. This is the 12th year of this project for Conquest. Please see the Conquest boys after Mass for the next 2 weeks. We encourage you to use Purdy’s online ordering, however paper orders will also still be accepted and are due to be handed in by Sunday, November 25th. Online orders will be accepted until Tuesday, November 27th. Email conquest.regina@gmail.com for more information.

“I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the other contributors to the treasury. For they all contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, her whole living.” Mark 12:43-44
Jesus gets right to the point - we are called to give money to support the mission of the Church, regardless of our circumstance. No gift is too small or insignificant! Giving money to support the mission of our local parish is a matter of our faith, just like praying and participating in parish ministries. When you make a financial offering, is it from your “first fruits” or from what is “left over”?
Fatal Flaws - Legalizing Assisted Death
Screening of film will be at Resurrection Parish Hall
(3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina) Wednesday, November 21 at 7:00 pm.
Question & Answer will follow with guest speaker Alex Schadenberg, Executive Director of Euthanasia Prevention Coalition. A free will offering will be taken with funds going to the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition.
All are welcome.
