Jaguar Land Rover sponsored the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Six Hours of Bahrain. As part of the sponsorship, Jaguar gave five extraordinary Jaguar XJ Long Wheel Base vehicles to the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), from November 10 to 17, for them to transport VIPs and other officials in the Kingdom for the duration of the event.
With Bahrain being ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, the Kingdom hosted the seventh and penultimate round of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in November in Sakhir.
The FIA World Endurance Championship is an auto racing world championship organized by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

A Chelsea pensioner is an in-pensioner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, a retirement home and nursing home for former members of the British Army located in Chelsea, London. First Motors, the exclusive dealer of Hyundai vehicles in the Kingdom of Bahrain, conducted a Breast Cancer medical checkup for their employees at the Bahrain Specialist Hospital. The checkup took place on October 29 and was organized in solidarity with a global campaign running during the month of October to raise the level of awareness of the risk of Breast Cancer.

employees, First Motors organized the medical check up to take place in conjunction with the ongoing global Breast Cancer campaign and it was overseen by the adept and efficient medical staff at the Bahrain Specialist Hospital. cancer to their female staff in collaboration with Royal Bahrain Hospital. The lecture was held at the Zayani Motors premises,Dr. Neetha Ravi, Specialist - General Surgery at RBH, steered the lecture and educated the employees on the symptoms and treatments of Breast cancer, emphasizing that by early detection, breast cancer can be controlled and many lives can be saved. Dr. Ravi also pointed out that several tests and procedures should be taken in order to diagnose this illness. “Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today will get breast cancer at some point. The good news
is that many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat” said Dr. Ravi during the lecture.

After the successful agreement between Alzayani Investments group and National Institute of Industrial Training (NIIT) , last year for the ‘Auto Technician Apprenticeship Program’, in order to train and hire male interns in the Automotive Industry; this year, similarly, nIIT has introduced a new Program for females, known as ‘Fanniyah- Empowering Females in the Automotive Industry’ in cooperation with Tamkeen and Ministry of Labor
As a part of Training & development of the group, the interview session for the first batch of NIIT trainees for the program took place at NIIT on September 17.
