Words from the MCP

Dear applicant,

It is my pleasure to introduce this application package for President of AIESEC in Ireland. It was only one year ago when I completed this application myself as the first step to becoming MCP for 2015/2016. Since then I've been on the most intense learning experience of my life, and experience you might be able to take it part in as well.

AIESEC in Ireland is ready to fulfill the potential that everyone often speaks of. We have rebuilt a lasting foundation over the last couple years, one that is beginning to impact Ireland in a big way. This year we have brought Real AIESEC to Ireland, and it's now up to the next generation to continue this along.

Submitting this application is not a choice you should make lightly. This is not an easy job. You will struggle to adapt to this reality. If you don't truly want this deep down, you will break. But this opportunity can be leveraged to make you better. This role can make you and the people around you great. I advise you to choose greatness.

In the words of the great Chael Sonnen:

“When doubt seeps in you got two roads, you can take either road. You can go to the left or you can go to the right and believe me, they’ll tell you failure is not an option. That is ridiculous. Failure is always an option. Failure is the most readily available option at all times, but it’s a choice. You can choose to fail, or you can choose to succeed.”

If you choose to succeed, then get to work, you have an application to write.

Sincerely yours,

Mike KarrMCP 2015/16
