MASS CARDS AND SPIRITUAL BOUQUETS
Parishioners are welcome to come to the office to request a Mass Card or a Spiritual Bouquet. The Mass Card is a remembrance by which we offer an announced Mass for the repose of the soul of the de-ceased person or for the intentions of the living. The Spiritual Bouquet is an enrollments in which we re-member the person enrolled at Mass offered every week for both living and deceased.

THE CATECHESIS OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
will take place on Fridays from 6pm to 7pm in des-ignated places in the Lower Church. The first day of Catechesis will be Friday, September 20th. THE CATECHESIS OF CONFIRMATION Will take place on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm in the Lower Church. The first day of Catechesis of Confirmation will be Wednesday, September 11th.
REGISTRATION FEE The Registration fee for 2019-2020 will be $30. This will be used to pay for materials and other expenses related to Religious Education activities.

Sharing each other’s stories can be liberating and welcome break in the silence that often surrounds emotional illness. This is the place to speak out and be heard in a safe confidential, and non-judgmental environ-ment, where isolation and stigma dissipate as sup-portive community is created. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH | 3PM Leo Abbott, Director Emeritus will rededicate the organ in concert. This concert will also celebrate the Titular Feast of the Cathedral, The Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Silent for two years during the renova-tion, the opulent new acoustic of the Cathedral has transformed the sound of the organ. Come and hear the organ as it has never been heard in our lifetimes!
RETURN OF THE PIPE ORGAN! Many have asked when we will hear the Cathe-
dral’s beautiful historic E. & G. G. Hook & Hastings
pipe organ. Each of the 5,318 pipes has been tuned
and regulated. This delicate process which has taken
a few months is finally complete!
Built in 1875 it is rare to have such a gem still tonally
intact. During the renovation, the entire instrument was
covered and protected from construction dust. About half
of its 5,318 pipes were removed and stored off-site. The
trumpet stops, made in Paris, and the Tuba stop were
cleaned and restored. The pipe organ does need regular
maintenance and there are many additional restoration
projects still needed. You can donate online to the Organ

tions ensure this beautiful instrument will continue to be
heard for the next generation!

Truly, healthier priests build stronger commu-nities. Our children will meet Jesus in the Gospel. The stories and activities in each weekly lesson helps the students understand how the Gospel message relates to their own lives.

Addiction Support for Families: A Boston priest’s expertise in addiction and recovery has been instrumental for organizations helping families and individuals in the grips of addiction.
Rostro de Cristo: Efforts to help the poor on the margins of Ecuador’s largest city is hard work, except for those who have been inspired by a Boston priest who started Rostro de Cristo, an organization based in Boston that lives the Gospel and serves the poor.
