FAITH FORMATION

INFORMATION

Faith Formation Classes are held on

Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at

the Parish Center. The classes run from

September through May.

A new registration form MUST be completed for all

present students as well as new students to attend our

program. Parents must bring the following documents

when registering:

- Baptism Certificate;

- Birth Certificate if child/ren is not baptized;

- If a child attended Religious Education classes at

another parish a transfer letter is required.

be interested in volunteering for the Faith Formation

Introduction to the Liturgy of the Word

Listening today to Luke’s account of the Passion, we

hear of the supreme confidence Jesus had in his Father

and his Father’s will. Isaiah also exudes confidence in

the face of abuse, holding his head high as he places

his trust in the Lord GOD. Saint Paul testifies that by

humbling himself and submitting to his Father’s will,

Jesus was glorified by God the Father. May we also

know that confidence in God’s will as we listen to

God’s word.

Introducción a la Liturgia de laPalabra

En el relato de la Pasión según san Lucas escuchamos

hoy sobre la confianza suprema que Jesús tenía en su

Padre y en la voluntad de su Padre. Isaías también re-

bosa en confianza frente al abuso y mantiene su cabeza

en alto, ya que toda su confianza la ha puesto en el

Señor Dios. San Pablo testifica que Jesús se humilló a

sí mismo y aceptó la voluntad de su Padre. Jesús fue

glorificado por Dios Padre. Que también nosotros pon-

gamos esa misma confianza en la voluntad de Dios al

escuchar su palabra.

PALM SUNDAY & EASTER SUNDAY Due to the extraordinary large attendance on these days the

1:15 p.m. Spanish Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. (15

minutes later) to allow those at the 12 Noon Mass to orderly

exit the Church.

Those attending the Noon Mass must be ON TIME. All

doors will be closed at 12:30 p.m. It is very important that

you follow the instructions of the Ushers, both inside and

outside the Church.

Those who are early for the 1:30 p.m. Mass will be asked to

wait in the Lower Church Hall or across the street until ALL,

including those in the Main Vestibule, at the 12 Noon Mass

have EXITED the Church through the SIDE DOORS near

the ORGAN and SAINTS CHAPEL.

NO ONE AT THE 12:00 NOON MASS WILL BE AL-

LOWED TO EXIT THROUGH ANY EXTERIOR

GLASS DOORS. Your kind cooperation is greatly appreci-

ated.

DOMINGO DE PASCUAS La Misa en Español el Domingo de Ramos y Domingo de

Pascua, serán a la 1:30 p.m. y tomarán lugar en la Iglesia.

es importante que los que atiendan la Misa del mediodía

estén a tiempo. Cerrarán las puertas de la Iglesia a las 12:30

para la Misa en Español, le pedimos que esperen en el sótano

de la Iglesia o al cruzar la calle. No habrá entrada a la Iglesia

del mediodía, solamente podrán salir por las puertas de los

lado, o sea, lado de Van Horn y por la Capilla de los Santos.
