Employee Survey
Deadline
Electronic Employee Survey
The Employee Survey period is
NOW OPEN.
As a reminder to all employees, half
the Agency has received the
electronic Employee Survey via their
Medic Email account. Please check
your email to see if you have received
an email correspondence from John
Sadlemyer. Again, only half the Agency
received this email.
As a reminder, you can take the
Employee Survey from any computer,
anywhere. You do not need to access
a Medic computer at Post 100, you
can simply take the survey from your
personal computer. The survey will
only take 5 minutes to complete and
it is COMPLETELY
ANONYMOUS.
The last day to take the
Employee Survey is THIS
Thursday, November
22nd.
Your feedback is extremely important, it will help shape future improvements at Medic.
We thank those who have already taken the time to complete the survey. Make sure your
voice is heard! Employees who did not receive a survey this month will receive the survey in
February. A communication will be sent in February as a reminder.
Again, thank you for taking the time to take the Employee Survey. If you have any questions,
please contact Deputy Director Jeff Keith at [email protected].

Over the past few years, Medic has begun to understand that
teamwork is indispensable in creating an excellent patient
experience.
As covered in November’s InService, please take some time to
review the essential elements of a good TEAM and the direct
correlation teamwork has with the overall quality of care
(patient satisfaction) scores.
If you have any questions regarding Teamwork or other
concepts reviewed by the Patient Satisfaction Team (i.e.
AIDET), please contact your immediate supervisor.
Understanding Teamwork
A group of Girl Scouts from Charlotte got the chance to learn about
Medic and some basic first aid during a visit to the Agency last
Wednesday, November 14th.
The group of seven girls spent several hours touring the Agency. They
got to learn about CMED’s role within the Agency and EMT-B Dale
Cordice gave them a firsthand look at an ambulance. The girls were
able to ask lots of questions about the Agency and what to expect if
they ever had to be treated by Medic.
After the tour, Cordice showed them basic first aid techniques
including how to splint a limb, how to stop a bleeding wound and how
to make a sling. The girls will earn a First Aid Merit Badge.
If you are interested in helping with community outreach events,
please contact Katie Rutland at [email protected].
