We will light your Candles during the Prayer Vigil with the Blessed Sacrament on Holy Thursday (April 18th) and leave them burning until 5am in the Sacred Heart Chapel . You may pick them up right after or before the Easter Vigil (April 20th) and use them during the Solemn Mass. Donation of $5.00 per candle. Easter Lillies in Memory of a loved one are also available for a donation of $15 per name.

Encountering Christ will establish a tuition assistance endowment to provide additional funds for scholarships, helping us welcome more children to our schools and spread the benefits of a Catholic education.
Advancing Our Mission - $1 Million
The Advancing Our Mission endowment fund provides grants to teachers and schools to make facility upgrades and purchase technology or other materials needed to offer the strongest and most compre-hensive educational experience possible.
Campus Ministry - $7 million
Funds from Encountering Christ will support supporting capital investments so campuses have spa-cious and visible facilities to welcome and minister to students.
Training Catechists and Catechetical Leaders—$7 million
Training catechists and catechetical leaders is a key component of the commission to form all genera-tions of set aside $7 million to support parish catechist training and certification efforts.
In addition, we will help parishes find new and creative approaches to faith formation — both individ-ually and in collaboration with others — and acquire the resources needed to upgrade and enhance their religious education programs.

Religious Education Registration for 2019-2020
Current students (oldest child of each family) will receive a registration packet on the last day of classes on April 27th & 28th. Please complete the packet and submit the forms by the May dates listed.
Family Registration
Before registering, each family will need at least 1 (one) parent who completed the workshop for Ethics and Integrity in Min-istry, as well as, the registration process with the Diocese of Austin. A print out verification will be needed.
Parent(s) will need to be registered members of San Jose parish.
Certificates required (must be included with registration; no ex-ceptions)
Baptismal Certificate, if 2nd year for 1st Communion & LDC2 OR Birth certificate, if not baptized
Baptismal & 1st Communion Certificates, if 2nd year for Confir-mation
Registration Fees
Families in good standing (last 6-months): NO FEE Families not in good standing: $400 for the family (full payment
due at registration) Late fees will be applied in June and July
