Final Doxology Finally, at the conclusion of the Eucharistic Prayer, the priest summarizes everything that has hap-pened until that moment, proclaiming: “Through Christ, with Him (Christ) and in Him (Christ), to You, God Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, every honor and all glory, forever and ever. ” The faithful, privileged to be able to make our own offering, respond with the most important accla-mation of the Mass, the great Amen, with which we profess that the action of Christ is also our ac-tion. The word amen, of Semitic origin, with which we reaffirm what the priest does and declares, does not mean only "so be it"; but it is a personal ratifi-cation of what we consider true, is to announce the certainty of faith and conviction. “Amen is like the signature we put on a document; because we make the amen ours, the content of what we sign. ” (More next week) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Los fi eles, privilegiados de poder hacer nuestro el mismo ofrecimiento, respondemos con la aclamación más importante de la Misa, el gran Amén, con el cual profesamos que la acción de Cris-to es también nuestra acción. La palabra amén, de origen semítico, con la que asentimos y reafirmamos lo que hace y declara el sacerdote, no significa sólo “así sea”; sino que es una ratificación personal de lo que consideramos cierto y verdadero, es publicar la seguridad de la fe y la convicción. “El amén es como la firma que ponemos a un docu-mento; porque por el amén hacemos nuestro el contenido de lo que firmamos.” (Más la próxima semana)
