St. Cecilia Catholic School Auction - Retiring Teachers
St. Cecilia Catholic School has been very blessed for a very long time to have so many faculty members who have dedicated many years of service to the school. This year is a bittersweet year as seven of these members are retiring, and we want to honor their commitment to both Catholic education and St. Cecilia Catholic School in the best way that we can as a community.
To honor our 7 retiring teachers – we are creating the “Excellence in Education” Fi-nancial Aid Scholarship and will kick off the funding for the scholarship during the “Paddles Up” portion of this year’s Auction.
We have named the scholarship the “Excellence in Education” in tribute to these amazing teachers and their combined 156 years of service to St. Cecilia! We are in-credibly thankful to them and their dedication not only to Catholic education, but to St. Cecilia Catholic School. We hope you will help us in honoring them as part of our 60th Anniversary Auction celebration.
Our $5,000 Sponsor Level Tables are also named “Excellence in Education” in honor of these amazing teachers and anyone who sponsors a table at that level – their sponsorship donation will go directly to the “Excellence in Education” scholarship. Register today to attend the 60th Anniversary Auction celebration - https://saintceciliacatholicschool.org/giving/auction/

StationS oF the croSS / eL Vía cruciS
Friday Night3/23 at 6:00 p.m. (English) & 8:00 p.m. (Spanish)
The Stations of the Cross began as the practice of pious pilgrims to Jerusalem who would retrace the final journey of Jesus Christ to Calvary. Later, for the many who wanted to pass along the same route, but could not make the trip to Jerusalem, a practice developed that eventually took the form of the fourteen stations currently found in almost every church.

Thank you!
Pope Francis has asked our parish to support the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, which helps Christians in the Holy Land.
Your support helps the church minister in parishes, provide Catholic schools and offer religious ed-ucation. The Pontifical Good Friday Collection also helps to preserve the sacred shrines. The wars, unrest and instability have been especially hard on Christians. In these times of crisis, the Pontifical Good Friday Collection provides humanitarian aid to refugees.
When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, you become an instrument of peace and join with Catholics around the world in solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land.
