RECRUITING NEW ALTAR SERVERS!!! Calling anyone who is interested in becoming an altar server!!!! To be a server, you must have received your First Holy Communion and be enrolled in CCE/Edge/Space. Training will take place 5:30 -7:30 PM on May 10, 17, 24, and 31 (corrected dates). For more information, contact Pedro Lopez at [email protected].

Ministry of the week Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

In every celebration of the Eucharist, there should be a sufficient number of ministers of Holy Communion so that it may be distributed in a reverent and orderly manner. Bishops, priests and deacons distribute Holy Communion in virtue of their office as ordinary ministers of the Body and Blood of the Lord. When the size of the congregation or the incapacity of the bishop, priest, or deacon requires it, the priest may call upon extraordinary ministers to assist him. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion should receive sufficient spiritual, theological, and practical preparation to fulfill their role with knowledge and reverence. All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread or wine. If you are interested in learning more about becoming an Extra Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion, please contact Joyce Lubofsky, Director of Liturgy, at [email protected] o 281.333.3891 x 333.

Adult faith formation at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church is centered around the understanding that living

learned along the way.
