Although wearing a face covering is just a small gesture, it shows your care, concern, and love to all of our brothers and sisters who have gathered together in the presence of God. I know that wearing a face covering can be uncomfortable and annoying at times, but it pales in comparison to the suffering Christ endured for our salvation. So I want to encourage you to continue to grow in charity and to pick up that little cross and show your love to your neighbor, for in doing so, you are showing your love for God, whom we are to love above everything else. It is hard for me to believe that, on June 20 th , I have been ordained a priest for 5 years. It seems like a lifetime ago. In the last two years we have all experienced things that were unexpected. It is only through God’s grace working in each of us that we can and will continue to move forward, no matter what we will have to face. God is Good and Loves each one of us and through Him anything is possible. It is so great to see so many of you at Sunday Mass. Attendance has been steadily increasing each week. It was also nice to get back to some normalcy with Mass times returning to our regular schedule. For those who are not yet comfortable gathering, Bishop Malesic has dispensed individuals from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays, so, if you are older, have underlying health conditions, have a cough of any sort, are feeling sick, or are uncomfortable gathering together in person, you are encouraged to stay home. We will continue to stream Sunday Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube, as well as broadcast on WMBS at 3:00 p.m. We are still working on some technical issues with the new video system at St Therese, as well as broadcasting on Atlantic Broadband Channel 77, so please be patient as we get things up and running. Now for the most important part, for all the men of our parish families, Happy Father’s Day!!!!!! Staying Connected
F E C Thirty children from our four parishes have long been waiting to receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. There will be one Celebration for First Eucharist on Sunday, July 12th, at a 4:00 p.m. Mass. In order for us to follow social distancing
guidelines, the children and their parents will be the only ones in attendance at this Mass. We are planning to live stream this important moment on Facebook and YouTube.
We ask all of our parishioners to keep these children in your prayers as they prepare to receive Jesus.

May God continue to bless them as they prepare for this Celebration. In addition, we happily welcome Blake Edwards as he receives the Sacrament of Baptism.
