From the Pastors Desk Daniel Flaherty and Abigail Wagner were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on Saturday, June 11 here at St. Rose. Linda Sue Preston was received into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation on Saturday, June 11 here at St. Rose. Delainey Elizabeth Murray was welcomed into the Christian commu- nity through the sacrament of Baptism on Sunday, June 12 here at St. Rose. Next weekend, June 25 and 26, we will take up the Peter s Pence Col- lection, which provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to car- ry out his charitable works around the world. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and disasters. Join our Holy Father as a witness of charity to those who are suffering. Volunteers needed to provide dinners Monday-Thursday evenings during the summer months as well as breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. This is a great way to make a difference in the lives of the moms and kids at Bethany House. Get a group together; youth groups, schools, mom's groups, women's clubs, co-workers, neighborhood friends, families, etc. can share the cost of providing a meal. Bethany House welcomes volunteers of all ages, so bring your kids and give them the opportunity to learn about volunteering! Call Lisa at 513-557-2403 or email [email protected] for more details. Thank you for your support! Glenmary seeks a Residence Cook . The work location is 4119 Glenmary Trace, Fairfield, Ohio 45014 and the hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 am through 7:00 pm. Responsibilities include: planning men- us; preparing, cooking, and clean up after meals; ordering food items; maintaining an accurate inventory, and assisting with food preparation for additional events. The person selected for this position should possess a minimum of a high school education or equivalent, have appropriate knowledge in adult nutrition, and have three to five years of related experi- ence. Glenmary offers a competitive salary and benefits. Persons interest- ed in this position should submit a resume to Gil Stevens at GHM, P.O. Box 465618, Cincinnati, OH 45246 or email it to [email protected]. You are invited to join Fr. Barry for an 11-day tour of Ireland on October 18-28, 2016.
